Our cellar door operates Thursday to Monday – 10am to 5pm – Bookings & Appointments are essential. We cannot generally accommodate ‘walk ins’.

We are DOG FRIENDLY, as long as your furry friend is well behaved and doesn’t mind being on a lead. We have outdoor areas that you can ‘park’ your beloved whilst enjoying a wine experience. If seated outdoors, your furry friend is welcome to join you.
Welcome to Vineyard 28 Guided Tasting Experience
This guided tasting is a great way to discover our story, our passion for all things Italian, and to showcase our delicious and unique range of wines.
Our aim is to provide you with an informative, engaging and memorable wine experience. We invite you to sit down, relax and select up to 6 wines – from our current range. (Wines are subject to availability). You can choose to sit indoors or if weather permits outside on our lawn area overlooking the vineyard.
Allow approx. 45minutes to 1 hour.
Price: $10.00 per person
Optional Food Pairing:
You may also wish to enhance your wine tasting experience with a simple culinary pairing. Each of your chosen wines will be paired with a selection of flavours, designed to perfectly balance and enhance their qualities.
Price: Additional $10.00 per person
‘28’ Wine & Grazing Experience
For those looking to fully immerse themselves in all things Vineyard 28 and sample the full collection of wines available, then this is in-depth comparative style tasting is for you. Tasting notes will be provided and Mark or Pippa will be on hand to guide you through your tasting and answer any questions. You are also welcome to enjoy this tasting at your own pace.
Our wines are paired with a sumptuous grazing board, compiled of local cheeses, preserves and fresh produce. Two cheeses, charcuterie, mixed olives, seasonal relish, pickled veggies, dip and fresh fruits. All accompanied by hand-made crackers and Turkish bread. (Gluten Free option available)
Price: $35.00 per person

28 Vino and Vinyl
Looking for a relaxing afternoon of wine and music ?
Then this indulgent experience is for you.
Book an afternoon session for 2 people and relax in our lounge chairs, tasting wine and playing your choice of music from our eclectic vinyl collection.
Or you might like to gather a small group of friends and take over the big table for an afternoon of music, wine and chat with friends.
This experience provides you with the opportunity to taste up to 6 wines from our available range at the cellar door. You are welcome to then add on a paired sample plate or go all out with the full grazing board experience.
Price: $25.00 per person (minimum 2 persons – max. 6 persons)
Add on Paired Sample Plate – $10.00 per person
Add on Grazing Board – $35.00 per person
Available: 3pm to 5pm on Saturday or Sunday afternoons. (Other days by arrangement)
A Taste of Italy - Vineyard & Winery Experience
For those looking to immerse themselves in all things wine, walk in the vineyard and visit the winery, then this experience is for you.
Your journey starts amongst the vines with our Award Winning winemaker – Mark Cumbers. Hear the story of how a ‘kiwi’ girl met a ‘WA’ boy in Melbourne and why Vineyard 28 chose to grow these Italian varieties.
Take a walk in the vineyard and get to understand how grapes are grown. From the vineyard, you will amble to the winery and get to see behind the scenes to learn how we make grapes into wine. Taste and learn how wines are aged in barrels.
Return to the cellar door and our winemaker, Mark will introduce you to our Italian varietals accompanied by the sumptuous ‘28’ Grazing board laden with delicious morsels of local produce – cheese, charcuterie, olives, relish, dips, seasonal fruits Turkish Bread and Homemade gourmet crackers. (Gluten Free option available).
Depending upon the time of year you may get to taste grapes in the vineyard or experience wine from the tank or barrel. Late January to April can be one of the most interesting times to take this tour, as we have grapes on the vine and a lot happening in the winery to experience.
The tour starts and concludes at our Cellar Door, where you will complete your Italian journey, and is only available at 10.30am on the days we are open. Bookings in advance are essential.

Vineyard 28 offers guided wine tastings either at our cellar door. You may choose to sample just a few wines or our entire range. Our recommendation is to allow additional time and book a “28” Wine and Grazing Experience.Tasting Fees

Please Note: There may be times due to availability of stock that a particular wine is not available for tasting.

‘La Dolce Vita’ Wine Flight
For those who enjoy the sweeter things in life.
In depth tasting notes will be provided and we will be on hand to answer any questions.
Our sweet wines, Moscato Rosa and Dolcetto Freddo will be paired with select food samples to broaden wine experience and knowledge. A small selection of fresh & dried fruits along with some sweet confections are offered to pair with these wines.

The ‘28’ Wine & Grazing Experience
Enjoy specific wines from our range or sample them all, paired with a grazing board laden with delicious morsels of local produce – cheese, charcuterie, olives, seasonal fruits and gourmet crisp crackers. (all Gluten Free)
In depth tasting notes will be provided and Mark or Pippa will be on hand to guide you through your tasting, answer questions and share their story with you.

Please Note: The Wildwater Sparkling Pignoletto is not included in this experience. If you wish to sample this we can include a tasting sample for an additional $5.00 per person payable at the Cellar Door at the time of your visit.
The ‘Wildwater’ Sparkling Experience
Indulge with a whole bottle of our Wildwater Sparkling Pignoletto, paired with a grazing board laden with delicious morsels of local produce – cheese, charcuterie, olives, a seasonal fruit selection and gourmet crisp crackers. (all Gluten Free)
Tasting notes will be provided and Mark or Pippa will be on hand to answer your questions.
If you don’t finish your bottle of sparkling, no problem. We will provide a special closure so you can cap and take your bottle away with you to finish later.
We recommend this experience be enjoyed by 2-6 people.
